The YumaCats are the University of Arizona Alumni Chapter based in Yuma, Arizona. Our mission is to provide more opportunities for the best and brightest students from our region to be able to attend UA. With funds raised locally, we provide first-year scholarships for Yuma area students attending UA and UA Yuma.
- YumaCats Freshman Scholarships are awarded to students entering UA after graduating from any Yuma County high school. Application Deadline: March 1, 2023
- YumaCats Transfer Scholarships are awarded to local students entering UA or UA Yuma to complete their degree after completing a portion at AWC or another institution. Application Deadline: March 24, 2023
Both scholarship applications can be found on UA’s Scholarship Universe beginning January 2, 2023. Students must be admitted to UA and have a UA Net ID established to access Scholarship Universe.
